Tuesday Doubles Workout

I got in a quick workout today between clients.

Double Swings; 12/12kg - 10, 10, 10
Double Snatch; 12/12kg - 10,10,10
Double OH Press; 12/12kg - 5,5,5

Windmills; 20kg - 3/3
SPPS; 18lbs - 1/1, 1/1

Fawn, It's doubles day for me, but I don't think I'll be trying that dbl 20kg thing!

Double snatches w/12kg...nice...I've been doing those in long combination sets, but with the 8kg.

I actually did this workout in a combination style, like you do... I was just too tired to write about it. This workout took only about 15 minutes. So, not nearly as long or as intense as yours... I just take it when I can get it! LOL!

The Windmills and SPPS were afterthoughts to the combination workout, done with only one kb.

Doubles are a world unto their own. For some reason double snatches freak me out. Double swings or cleans, no problem.

You gotta love doing KB drills with two bells. Most of my squatting and pressing is done with two bells. Just seems like I get more bang for the buck with the double bells.

20kg windmill...........very nice!

Jim, Start light. I still don't have the confidence to double snatch the 16's! Double snatches are a whole different animal...

I was going for the bigger bang... not much time, and I had to do something. Plus, I have been meaning to get better at double snatches!
