The Amazing Snatch Race

Alright... I am commitmentaphobic... so I will not commit to joining the race. I will keep track of my points until I get sick of it. I started today, here is how it went down in the world of snatches...

24kg - 5/5 X5 = 250
20kg - 10/10x1 = 60
16kg - 10/10 X 5 = 200

Total 510 snatch points.

God help us if Pamela or Tracy join in.
I will provide a snatch video of the 24kg snatches... I am certainly not the first woman to snatch the 24kg. Pamela Macleree regularly snatches the 24kg. I know Yoana Snideman has snatched the 24kg, and I believe Sarah Cheatham has too. I am sure there have been more. Any way video is on the way.

Fawn, your snatch numbers and weights are threat to me!

4 consecutive days of snatches make me feel better by the way.

Taikei,
I started late! Plus, I'm not much for sticking with something I know I won't win...
You on the other hand have a very good chance of winning!

Mark,
I never thought I would marry... in fact I used to have nightmares about getting married! LOL! Aaron and I are a good match...

I was snatching the 24kg last year, then I quit for a while. It is still very challenging. Pamela makes it look like a cake walk!

Holy sh*^! Can't believe you are snatching the 24kg and the 20kg with those crazy numbers.

How are your hands holding up? I would say that is my biggest challenge with high numbers or larger bells.

Looks like I'll be standing way away from you in June as well. 8-) Wow I better step it up!

Those 5-pointers are the ticket, honey. I've got two snatch workouts in, and only 300-some points. And I know I'll be spending some time with half-pointers for "recovery." Great job.

Hey Lauren! Thanks for stopping by! I was snatching the 20 and 24 a few months ago, but gave it up because of you guessed it... extreme hand discomfort! When I saw the amazing race thing I thought I would give the heavy thing another go...

I will not be participating at level 2... I am hosting a BBQ for my friends from blogosphere who will be in town that weekend. So, plan on a BBQ at my house Friday night.

That is so nice of you to be doing that! Who else from the blog world will be attending the cert? This is going to be fun! Partying it up in MInnesota. 8-)

Um, yeah, gotta love the 24! It is just plain fun to mess around with something that's like, oh half your body weight :p

Glad you liked R-Phase. It rocks! I had a chance to go back for a second time, before heading to S-Phase, and was able to put things into place..after having practiced it on myself and clients. I could just sit back and listen, instead of crazily taking notes. Gotta love Dr. Cobb & Kathy. :) Good people.

Sara,
I have to say I was EXPECTING to like R-Phase... I really liked it more that I expected. I have had so much fun trying out all the new techniques I learned. It is so exciting that I can actually make Z work!

I could go on and on! I can't wait for the second weekend!

Are you going to RKC Level 2 this summer?
