Squat Day

Anna White joined Maura and I for squats tonight. Good times! Here is how it all went down...

~I like my new modified squat cycle. Bigger Jumps, more heavy singles, no doubles over 200lbs.

~Challenging but doable...

Back Squat PR is 240lbs
I am going to do another meet in November... I would love to get 240 in the meet.
Front Squats PR... I can't say. I don't think I done a 1RM FSQ.

I hate to say I told you so but I told you so-bigger jumps, heavier singles...now you need to listen to me for your bench -try the narrow grip for a while and work on getting your scapulae depressed and retracted. Looking forward to seeing how your DL improves as well with the less is more routine.

Tried the narrow grip on Sunday... felt pretty good. I will post more about it soon.
